The first major player trade of the Regular Season was executed today in The JFF Madden NFL (PS4) Online League between the Indianapolis Colts and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The JFF Colts, led by Owner / Coach Alan C. a.k.a. “Air Attack” has traded away the following three players:
QB Andrew Luck
WR Hakeem Nicks
RE Jeris Pendleton
Luck led the JFF Colts to a 7-0 record during the Fall 2013 season, but was benched after a 35-13 Week Nine loss to the JFF Houston Texans. Starting with Week Ten of last season, Air decided to go with Terrelle Pryor as his starting quarterback, and in the first two games of the Fall 2014 season, Pryor has continued to be the starter.
Luck finished the Fall 2013 season with 202 completed passes out of 282 attempts for 3,063 passing yards and 40 passing touchdowns. Luck also rushed 60 times for 401 rushing yards and 12 rushing touchdowns. Luck did not play at all in the first two Regular Season games of the season.
During the Fall 2013 season, Nicks was one of the top receivers for the JFF N.Y. Giants. Nicks finished the season with 70 receptions for 1,346 receiving yards and 19 receiving touchdowns. This season, prior to being traded, Nicks had no receptions in the first two games of the Regular Season.
Pendleton was not active in the league during the Fall 2013 season. For this season, Pendleton had accumulated 3 tackles prior to being traded.
The JFF Buccaneers, led by Owner / Coach Kedren P. a.k.a. “Top Dawg” has traded away the following three players:
QB Mike Glennon
WR Vincent Jackson
RE William Gholston
JFF Bucs Quarterback Mike Glennon did not play one down last season. This season, prior to the trade, Glennon did not see action in the first two games of the Regular Season.
During the Fall 2013 season, Jackson ended up as one of the more productive receivers in the entire league on his way to earning Pro Bowl honors. Jackson finished the season with 101 receptions for 2,237 receiving yards and 20 receiving touchdowns. This season, prior to being traded, Jackson had 6 receptions for 98 receiving yards and 2 receiving touchdowns for the JFF Buccaneers.
Gholston was not active in the league during the Fall 2013 season. For this season, Gholston had accumulated 30 solo tackles and 16 assisted tackles and 2 sacks in his first two Regular Season contests with the JFF Bucs.
All of the players involved in the trade will see action for the first time with their respective new teams during JFF Week Three. The JFF Bucs will visit their division rival, the JFF Falcons (CPU) in Week Three and the JFF Colts will visit their division rival, the JFF Jaguars (CPU).
