The JFF Chiefs (15-1-0) and JFF Patriots (11-5-0) met earlier this season in Week Four, with the JFF Chiefs winning decisively 44-14. The last time Kansas City advanced as far as the second round of the JFF playoffs was during the Fall 2003 season (different Owner / Coach) when they earned a 2-0 forfeit against the JFF Bills. The last time New England advanced as far as the Divisional Round was during the Fall 2013 season (different Owner / Coach) when they got past the JFF Colts 31-28. The JFF Patriots ended up losing to the eventual Super Bowl Champion JFF Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Conference Championship that season 17-7.

The JFF Patriots advanced to the Divisional Round of the AFC Conference playoffs by defeating the JFF Bills (12-4-0) 17-10 in the Wild-Card Round. New England starting QB Tom Brady completed 14 of 20 passes for 156 passing yards and 1 touchdown. During the Spring 2015 season, the JFF Bills were the #1 Seed in the AFC Conference playoffs (different Owner / Coach), but lost in JFF Super Bowl XI to the JFF Seattle Seahawks 34-31. This was Buffalo’s only loss of the Spring 2015 season.

AFC Divisional Round match-up #2: #5 Seed JFF Denver Broncos AT #2 Seed JFF Cincinnati Bengals

The JFF Bengals (14-2-0) and JFF Broncos (12-4-0) faced off against each other during Week Sixteen of the Regular Season. Kory G’s JFF Broncos won 41-35 in an overtime thriller. [Note: During the Spring 2004 season, the league was divided into the Eastern Conference and Western Conference rather than the AFC Conference and NFC Conference]

The JFF Broncos advanced to the Divisional Round of the AFC Conference playoffs by defeating the JFF Indianapolis Colts 31-14. Kory G’s Denver team had defeated Indianapolis 52-10 in Week One of the Regular Season, but the current Owner / Coach of the JFF Colts – Alphonso a.k.a. ‘Champ’ – had not yet purchased the ownership rights to the Indianapolis franchise yet. Denver QB Tarvaris Jackson completed 11 of 13 passes for 189 passing yards and 2 touchdowns. Jackson also rushed 4 times for 25 rushing yards. HB C.J. Anderson rushed 24 times for 94 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns. WR Demaryius Thomas had 3 receptions for 109 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns. NFC Divisional Round match-up #1: #5 Seed JFF Arizona Cardinals AT #1 Seed JFF Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The JFF Buccaneers (15-1-0) and JFF Cardinals (13-3-0) did not compete against each other during the Regular Season. The last time Tampa Bay participated in the Divisional Round of the JFF playoffs was just last season, when they lost to Seattle 24-17. The Owner / Coach of the JFF Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Owner / Coach of the JFF Arizona Cardinals happen to be brothers in real life. It will be the first time two siblings have squared off in a JFF playoff contest in league history.

Arizona advanced to the Divisional Round of the NFC Conference playoffs this season with a 33-14 victory over Dallas in the Wild-Card Round. These two teams had met in Week Nine of the Regular Season, and the JFF Cowboys won that contest 28-21. Last season, the JFF Cowboys lost 23-21 in the Divisional Round to the JFF Carolina Panthers.

NFC Divisional Round match-up #2: #3 Seed JFF Seattle Seahawks AT #2 Seed JFF Green Bay Packers

The JFF Packers (14-2-0) and JFF Seahawks (13-3-0) will be meeting for the second time this season. During Week One competition, Green Bay was able to earn a 7-0 victory over Seattle, but the final score resulted from some sort of Connected Franchise Mode (CFM) ‘glitch.’ Seattle was actually up 21-7 at the end of the 3rd Quarter, and when Cadillac (Owner / Coach of the JFF Seahawks) attempted to re-start the game, the CFM gave his team a 7-0 loss. The last time the JFF Packers advanced to the Divisional Round was during the Fall 2014 season when they lost 24-14 to the JFF Carolina Panthers. The JFF Seahawks won the Super Bowl last season (different Owner / Coach), defeating the JFF Buffalo Bills 34-31 in JFF Super Bowl XI.

The JFF Seahawks advanced to the Divisional Round of the NFC Conference playoffs by defeating the JFF Chicago Bears (12-4-0) 49-7 in the Wild-Card Round. Defensively, FS Earl Thomas III had 11 tackles (including 2 for a loss of yardage), 1 sack, and 1 interception; LB Bruce Irvin had 6 tackles (including 2 for a loss of yardage) and 1 sack; RE Cliff Avril had 1 sack; and CB Richard Sherman had 4 tackles and 1 interception.

WR Kevin White had 5 receptions for 90 receiving yards and 1 touchdown. On defense, LB Pernell McPhee finished with 1 tackle and 1 sack and SS Ryan Mundy had 3 tackles (including one for a loss of yardage) and 1 interception. The last time Chicago moved on to the second round of the JFF playoffs was during the Fall 2013 season when they pulled off an ‘upset’ victory over the JFF New York Giants 26-22. The JFF Bears ended losing to Tampa Bay 27-10 in the NFC Conference Championship that season.
