The Wild-Card Round of the JFF 2015 Spring Season Playoffs Madden NFL (PS4) Online League has been completed, and now eight teams will match up with each other in the Divisional Round. The Divisional Round contests will take place between Sunday, April 12, 2015 and Tuesday, April 14, 2015.

AFC Divisional Round match-up #1: #6 Seed JFF Miami Dolphins AT #1 Seed JFF Buffalo Bills

The JFF Bills (16-0-0) and JFF Dolphins (11-5-0) first met in Week Five, with the JFF Bills winning decisively 38-10. Then, in Week Sixteen, these two AFC East Division rivals met for a second time in a contest that was much closer and more competitive. The JFF Bills won that contest 20-15. During the Fall 2014 season, the JFF Dolphins were the #2 Seed in the AFC Conference playoffs, but lost 21-14 to the JFF Indianapolis Colts in the Divisional Round. The JFF Bills were the #5 Seed in the AFC Conference playoffs (different Owner / Coach), but lost 20-14 in Overtime to the JFF San Diego Chargers in the Wild-Card Round.

The JFF Dolphins advanced to the Divisional Round of the AFC Conference playoffs by winning a closely contested match-up with the #3 Seed JFF Cleveland Browns (13-3-0) 30-28 in the Wild-Card Round. Miami starting QB Ryan Tannehill got injured early in the game, and never returned to the contest, but back-up QB Mitchel Alexander performed nicely in the clutch, and completed 11 of 17 passes for 191 yards and 1 touchdown. Alexander also had one rushing touchdown. Miami HB Knowshon Moreno rushed 17 times for 84 rushing yards and 1 touchdown. Miami TE Charles Clay had 4 receptions for 71 receiving yards and 1 touchdown. One the defensive end, Miami LB Philip Wheeler finished with 3 tackles, 2 sacks, and 1 forced fumble. Miami DE Dion Jordan also had 4 tackles, 1 sack, and 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery. Miami FS Louis Delmas finished with 11 tackles and 1 interception, and CB Tracy Porter also had 1 interception.

JFF Browns QB Johnny Manziel completed 23 of 29 passes for 293 passing yards and 2 touchdowns, but was intercepted twice and he also fumbled twice. Cleveland HB Ben Tate rushed 17 times for 70 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns. Cleveland WR Josh Gordon finished with 7 receptions for 119 receiving yards and 1 touchdown, and WR Andrew Hawkins had 4 receptions for 64 receiving yards and 1 touchdown. During the Fall 2014 season, the JFF Browns were the #1 Seed in the AFC Conference playoffs, but lost in the AFC Conference Championship game to the #3 Seed JFF Indianapolis Colts 35-17.

AFC Divisional Round match-up #2: #5 Seed JFF Baltimore Ravens AT #2 Seed JFF Tennessee Titans

The JFF Ravens (13-3-0) and JFF Titans (13-3-0) did not compete against each other during the Regular Season. During the Fall 2014 season, the JFF Ravens were the #6 Seed in the AFC Conference playoffs, but lost 24-20 to the JFF Indianapolis Colts in the Wild-Card Round. The JFF Titans failed to earn a playoff berth during the Fall 2014 season. Tennessee’s last participation in the AFC Conference playoffs was during the Fall 2013 season (different Owner / Coach) when they went 1-1-0, and lost 38-28 in the Divisional Round to the eventual Super Bowl Champion and #1 Seed that season, the JFF Baltimore Ravens.

The JFF Ravens advanced to the Divisional Round of the AFC Conference playoffs by defeating the JFF Kansas City Chiefs for the second time in just a few weeks. These two teams met in Week Twelve of the Regular Season, and the JFF Ravens won 27-12. In the Wild-Card Round contest, Baltimore was down early 10-0, but stormed back behind a balanced passing and rushing attack to win the contest 38-17. Baltimore HB Jeff Demps finished with 9 rushing attempts for 82 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and HB Bernard Pierce finished with 17 rushing attempts for 77 rushing yards and 1 touchdown. JFF Ravens QB Joe Flacco completed 13 of 16 passes for 190 passing yards and 3 touchdowns. Baltimore WR Aldrick Robinson had 4 receptions for 130 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns, and WR Jonathan Baldwin had 1 reception for 8 yards and 1 touchdown. Baltimore DE Elvis Dumervil finished with 8 tackles and 5 sacks. JFF Ravens LB Lamin Barrow and FS Matt Elam each had an interception.

JFF Chiefs HB Jamal Charles was held to 71 rushing yards on 14 carries. Kansas City FB Anthony Sherman had 1 rushing attempt for 1 yard and 1 touchdown. JFF Chiefs QB Alex Smith completed 17 of 23 passes for 192 passing yards and 1 touchdown, but was intercepted twice. Smith also ran twice for 13 yards. Kansas City WR Adam Finley finished with 4 receptions for 73 yards and 1 touchdown. JFF Chiefs CB Sean Smith finished with 4 tackles and 1 sack. The JFF Chiefs failed to earn a playoff berth during the Fall 2014 season (the team was controlled by the CPU last season). Kansas City’s last participation in the AFC Conference playoffs was during the Spring / Summer 2013 season (different Owner / Coach) when they went 0-1-0, and lost 69-14 in the AFC Wild-Card Round to the #5 Seed JFF Buffalo Bills.

NFC Divisional Round match-up #1: #6 Seed JFF Tampa Bay Buccaneers AT #1 Seed JFF Seattle Seahawks

The JFF Buccaneers (12-4-0) and JFF Bears (13-3-0) did not compete against each other during the Regular Season. During the Fall 2014 season, the JFF Buccaneers were the #5 Seed in the NFC Conference playoffs, but lost 14-12 to the JFF Green Bay Packers in the Wild-Card Round.

In was arguably the Wild-Card Round’s closest and most exciting contest this season, the JFF Buccaneers advanced to the Divisional Round of the NFC Conference playoffs by just getting by the JFF Chicago Bears 19-13 in Overtime. Tampa Bay QB Andrew Luck completed 20 of 33 passes for 278 passing yards and 1 touchdown. JFF Bucs WR Mike Evans had 5 receptions for 145 receiving yards and 1 touchdown. Tampa Bay HB Doug Martin finished with 37 rushing yards and 1 touchdown on 15 carries. Tampa Bay LB Lavonte David and LB Jonathan Casillas each had one sack each, while LB Mason Foster finished with 5 tackles and one interception.

JFF Bears QB Geno Smith completed 15 of 29 passes for 133 passing yards and 1 touchdown. Chicago HB Latavius Murray had 2 receptions for 22 receiving yards and 1 touchdown. JFF Bears Kicker Robbie Gould completed 2 of 2 field goal attempts, including a 50-yard attempt. On defense, Chicago DE Damond Cates finished with 4 tackles and 2 sacks. The JFF Bears failed to earn a playoff berth during the Fall 2014 season (the team was controlled by the CPU last season). Chicago’s last participation in the NFC Conference playoffs was during the Fall 2013 season (different Owner / Coach) when they went 2-1-0, and lost 27-10 in the NFC Conference Championship game to the #1 Seed that season and Fall 2013 Super Bowl Runner-Up, the JFF Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

NFC Divisional Round match-up #2: #4 Seed JFF Dallas Cowboys AT #2 Seed JFF Carolina Panthers

The JFF Cowboys (10-0-0) and JFF Panthers (11-5-0) will be meeting for the second time this season. During Week Seven competition, Dallas won a very closely contested match-up with Carolina 20-17. During the Fall 2014 season, the JFF Cowboys were the #3 Seed in the NFC Conference playoffs, but lost 16-13 to the JFF Arizona Cardinals in the Wild-Card Round. The JFF Panthers finished the Fall 2014 campaign as the JFF Super Bowl Champions. It was the first time the Carolina Franchise won a Super Bowl, and it was the second Super Bowl Championship for the Owner / Coach.

The JFF Cowboys advanced to the Divisional Round of the NFC Conference playoffs by winning a very close, competitive contest with the #5 Seed JFF San Francisco 49ers (12-4-0) 17-10 in the Wild-Card Round. Dallas QB Tony Romo completed 10 of 14 passes for 160 yards and 2 touchdowns. JFF Cowboys HB DeMarco Murray rushed 24 times for 172 rushing yards. Dallas WR Dez Bryant had 4 receptions for 55 receiving yards and 1 touchdown and WR Devaliera Flowers also had 4 receptions for 80 receiving yards and 1 touchdown. JFF Cowboys DE Anthony Spencer, DT Henry Melton, and LB Bruce Carter had one sack each. Dallas SS J.J. Wilcox finished with 3 tackles and 1 interception.

JFF 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick completed 10 of 18 passes for 169 passing yards, but was intercepted once and sacked three times. Kaepernick also rushed twice for 23 rushing yards. San Francisco HB Frank Gore rushed 12 times for 83 rushing yards and 1 touchdown. JFF 49ers TE Vernon Davis finished with 4 receptions for 95 receiving yards. Defensively, San Francisco LB Ahmad Brooks and FS Eric Reid each had one sack. During the Fall 2014 season, the JFF 49ers were the #1 Seed in the NFC Conference playoffs, but lost in the NFC Conference Championship game to the #2 Seed JFF Carolina Panthers 38-17.
