In the tornado of news and updates that is E3 2017, it would be understandable if you missed the patch to NBA Playgrounds on Steam that happened today.

And if those weren’t enough new players, the Seattle SuperSonics are now available to play as well.

As for new playgrounds, you can now play in Madrid and Chicago. Tournaments are also now playable in Venice Beach, Seattle, Madrid, and Chicago.

There are new ball styles are unlockable in the tournaments.

This update also included some changes and fixes to existing content. Here are the highlights:

  • They’ve added new dunk, crossover, and finger roll animations.
  • If the time reaches zero while the ball is still in the air, the match won’t end until the shot is resolved (either by scoring or failing).
  • They increased penalty for disconnecting from matches. This causes the offending user to lose more ELO points and the progressions grows faster.
  • Actions from your teammates now count toward finishing the tournament challenges.
  • They reduced the execution time for throws.
  • They reduced the chances of receiving duplicate cards in packages.
  • They fixed an issue with matchmaking where players were unable to join when a former online session wasn’t properly closed.
