MLB The Show 23 just got probably the biggest content update it has seen since its launch in late March. More than 25 new Diamond cards have arrived. There is also a new event, conquest map, and more for players to do in Diamond Dynasty.

April Monthly Rewards Program
The April Monthly Rewards Program has arrived in Diamond Dynasty. This program features tons of new cards based on the players that performed the best throughout the first month of the MLB season. This program includes missions, moments, an event, and collections that players can complete to earn these new cards.
This program is headlined by the 99 OVR Lightning card, Blue Jays 3B Matt Chapman. Chapman has been on an absolute tear to begin 2023. Through 31 games, Chapman has a .351/.435/.614 slash line with 5 HRs and 21 RBIs.
There are also the henchmen cards in the April Monthly Awards Program to talk about. There are 15 henchmen cards, all of which can be earned for free by playing this new program. The henchmen cards for the program are:

We also have two new Captain cards in the April Monthly Awards Program. These two 95 OVR cards can boost any of the players featured in this new program. The new Captains are Cubs SP Mark Prior and Guardians C Carlos Santana.
April Monthly Awards Event
The new event is here to celebrate the April Monthly Awards cards. This event has players using Monthly Awards cards and their captains, Topps Now, and Live Series cards in 3-inning games on All-Star difficulty. 10 wins in the event will earn you Retro Topps Now Matt Carpenter (95 OVR) while 20 wins gets you Retro Topps Now Sean Manaea (97 OVR).
Topps Now
The final batch of Topps Now cards have arrived for the month of April. Nine more Diamond cards have been added for players to earn by completing moments and missions. The new Topps Now cards are:

Collecting all of the April Topps Now cards will earn you 15 points toward the April Monthly Rewards Program. This is a great way to get a jump start on the new program.
Mariners Nike City Connect
A new conquest map has been added based on the Seattle Mariners new Nike City Connect jerseys. The map has 5 goals to complete to earn rewards. Completing all these goals will earn you the Mariners Nike City Connect jersey for your Diamond Dynasty squad.
Diamond Duos
The 13th Diamond Duos pack is now available in The Show Shop. This pack features two new 99 OVR Charisma Series cards. The two new cards are Twins 2B Rod Carew and White Sox SP Lance Lynn.
