Today, San Diego Studio (SDS) released Patch 1.21 for MLB The Show 19. Today’s patch is small in size but will have an incredible impact for hitting in all modes, especially online play in Diamond Dynasty. Here’s a complete breakdown of all the new patch.

PATCH 1.21

Early this morning, SDS released Patch 1.21 and had performed routine server maintenance. Per TheShowNation, here are the patch notes:

While the hitting note may seem minor, it likely will change hitting for the better. Exit velocities are inconsistent in MLB The Show 19, especially in higher levels of online play. One reason for this could be pitchers’ home runs per nine innings (HR/9) rating influencing hitting, a change SDS made going into this year’s game. It’s likely just an experiement, but players are surely going to test this out.

Lastly, MLB The Show released a schedule for upcoming content drops, live streams and much more. Here is the full schedule for the remainder of the season.

What do you think of this new patch? Is it too little, too late? Will you try things out and see if hitting in MLB The Show 19 is improved? Let us know in the comment section below, and don’t forget to subscribe to SGO.
