MLB The Show 20: 6th Inning Program Available Now, Details Here

Today, San Diego Studio (SDS) dropped a sizable content update for MLB The Show 20 Diamond Dynasty. This update includes over a dozen new cards (including 99 overalls Greg Maddux, Jimmy Rollins and Stan Musial), the new 6th Inning program, a new event, new moments and more. This is a complete breakdown of all the new content.

A New 2K Racing Game is in Development

6TH INNING PROGRAM

The 6th Inning Program is now open. Earn 300 points in the program to select one of the following players from a choice pack: 99 Greg Maddux, 99 Jimmy Rollins and 99 Stan Musial. Below is a look at all three players’ attributes and card art.

Additional notable rewards in the 6th Inning Program are as follows:

  • 100 Program Stars – Headliners Set 6 pack
  • 120 Program Stars – Headliners Set 19 pack
  • 150 Program Stars – Diamond legend choice pack
  • 200 Program Stars – Ballin’ Is A Habit pack (guaranteed gold or better player)
  • 300 Program Stars – 6th Inning Program boss choice pack
  • 450 Program Stars – 5 The Show packs
  • 500 Program Stars – 5 The Show packs
  • 650 Program Stars – Ballin’ Is A Habit pack (guaranteed gold or better player)
  • 750 Program Stars – 10 The Show packs
  • 800 Program Stars – 10 The Show packs
  • 850 Program Stars – 5 Ballin’ Is A Habit packs (guaranteed gold or better player)
  • 900 Program Stars – Ducks on the Pond pack

Overall, Diamond Dynasty is welcoming 12 new legends and flashback cards. All of these cards are obtainable by either completing 6th Inning Program milestones, completing new moments/programs, opening packs or buying them from the marketplace.

6TH INNING SHOWDOWN & CONQUEST MAP

The 6th Inning Showdown and conquest map are also available. Completing the showdown rewards 70 program stars, and completing the conquest map rewards 30 program stars. Here is a sneak preview.

HEADLINERS SET 37 PACK

Additionally, you can now purchase Headliner Set 37 Packs from the pack store. There is a limit of five per account, and each pack costs 7,500 stubs. The featured card in this set is  96 overall Silver Slugger JD Martinez. Here is the card art and attributes.

BASEBALL IS BACK EVENT

The brand new Baseball is Back event is now open. Games are three innings on all-star difficulty, and there are no roster restrictions when building a squad. The rewards to be earned in this event are as follows:

  • 25 wins – Ballin’ Is A Habit pack (guaranteed gold or better player)
  • 35 wins – 94 overall Awards Series Justin Upton
  • 40 wins – Ballin’ Is A Habit pack (guaranteed gold or better player)
  • 50 wins – 94 overall Awards Series Andrelton Simmons
  • 55 wins – 10 The Show packs
  • 60 wins – Ducks on the Pond pack
  • 65 wins – 10 The Show packs
  • 70 wins – HR Derby Set 1 pack
  • 75 wins – HR Derby Set 2 pack
  • 85 wins – 5 Ballin’ Is A Habit packs (guaranteed gold or better player)
  • 90 wins – 20 The Show packs
  • 100 wins – Ducks on the Pond pack
