Today, San Diego Studio (SDS) released an immense content update for MLB The Show 20 Diamond Dynasty. This update includes over a dozen new cards (including 99 overall Clayton Kershaw), the new 8th Inning program, a new player program, new moments and more. This is a complete breakdown of all the new content.

8TH INNING PROGRAM

The 8th Inning Program is now open. Earn 300 points in the program to select one of the following players from a choice pack: 99 Clayton Kershaw, 99 Ivan Rodriguez and 99 Ty Cobb. Below is a look at all three players’ attributes and card art.

Overall, Diamond Dynasty is welcoming 13 new diamond cards. All of these cards are obtainable by either completing 8th Inning Program milestones, completing new moments/programs, opening packs or buying them from the marketplace.

ROSTER UPDATE

Today’s roster update features attribute upgrades and position changes, as well as team changes as a result of recent trades or signings following Monday’s MLB Trade Deadline. Below are some of the major attribute changes.

8TH INNING SHOWDOWN & DUCK CONQUEST MAP

The 8th Inning Showdown and conquest map are also available. Completing the showdown rewards 70 program stars, and completing the conquest map rewards 30 program stars. Here is a sneak preview of the conquest map.

HEADLINERS SET 49 PACK

Additionally, you can now purchase Headliner Set 49 Packs from the pack store. There is a limit of five per account, and each pack costs 7,500 stubs. The featured card in this set is  99 overall Future Stars Royce Lewis. Here is the card art and attributes.

New Topps Now cards and moments are also available. Complete all six of the past week’s moments to earn a Topps Now choice pack, good for two Topps Now players. Today’s release includes the following Topps Now cards:

A quick way to earn points in the 8th Inning Program is by completing the new Torii Hunter player program. Completing the program and collecting this card will earn you 20 points in the 8th Inning Program. Here is a look at the card art for Hunter.
