Today, San Diego Studio (SDS) released a loaded content update for MLB The Show 20 Diamond Dynasty. This update includes nearly a dozen new cards (including three 99 overalls), the new 9th Inning program, two new player programs, a new event and more. This is a complete breakdown of all the new content.
The 9th Inning Program is now open. Earn 300 points in the program to select one of the following players from a choice pack: 99 Honus Wagner, 99 Kenley Jansen and 99 Jimmie Foxx. Below is a look at all three players’ attributes and card art.

9TH INNING SHOWDOWN & CONQUEST MAP
The 9th Inning Showdown and conquest map are also available. Completing the showdown rewards 70 program stars, and completing the conquest map rewards 30 program stars. Here is a sneak preview of the conquest map.
NEW POSTSEASON EVENT
Additionally, the first of four Postseason events is now open. The Wild Card Event features lineups constructed from only the 16 playoff teams in the MLB. Games are six innings and are played at Dodger Stadium. You can earn these exciting rewards by racking up wins in the four Postseason events: 99 Postseason Series Stephen Strasburg (30 wins), 99 Signature Series Will Clark (40 wins) and 99 Signature Series Rich Gossage (50 wins).Â
NEW PLAYER PROGRAMS
A quick way to earn points in the 9th Inning Program is by completing the new Hunter Pence and Jim Edmonds player programs. Completing the programs and collecting each card will earn you a total of 45 points in the 9th Inning Program. Here is a look at the card art for Pence and Edmonds.
