A technical test is coming to MLB the Show 22.
Starting February 17 around 10 am PST and lasting through 10 am PST February 23rd, players 18 or over in U.S. and Canada with a PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, or Nintendo Switch* internet-connected console can participate in the MLB The Show 22 Technical Test.
MLB the Show 22 Tech Test Incoming
During the technical test, you can cross-play with other consoles in cross-platform co-op. It will be used to stress test the servers. These tests help companies deliver the best experience at launch. Online match-making, cross-platform play, online co-op, and more will be available during the tech test to gather feedback on gameplay.
There is no need to sign up. Everyone is eligible**. Download for free on the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, or Nintendo eShop on February 16th.
*Nintendo Switch Online membership required to participate.
**Must be 18 years old or over, located in the United States or Canada, and have a valid PSN, Xbox Live, or Nintendo account.
Note: if you are joining us for the Nintendo Switch and wish to post on the forums, you will need to register an MLB the Show Account here. If you have multiple consoles, you should sign for an MLB the Show account to enable access to have access to your entire inventory.
MLB the Show 22 will release on April 5, 2022. It will release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The switch release will be a first in franchise history. For the second consecutive year, the Xbox versions of the game will be available for Xbox Game Pass subscribers at no additional cost at release.
