In addition to all of those goodies, every pre-ordered edition gets “early tip-off access.” That means you get to play with others who pre-ordered the game starting Friday, September 15, 2018, four days before the game’s normal release.
Each edition also has a different cover and color scheme. The Standard Edition features Kyrie Irving while the Legend Edition and Legend Edition Gold each feature a different image of Shaquille O’Neal.
NBA 2k18 will be released on Tuesday, September 19, 2018.
