NBA 2K has announced the ratings of the top 10 point guards and shooting guards for the highly anticipated NBA 2K16 release on September 29, 2015. The reigning NBA MVP Stephen Curry tops the point guards list at #1 with a 93 player rating while just edging the top rated shooting guard, James Harden’s 92 overall, player rating.
Once again player attributes and overall ratings have been given a new formula, which may explain how NBA Live’s cover athlete Russell Westbrook received an 89 overall rating after leading the NBA in scoring and finishing fourth in the MVP voting last season. The combination of NBA advanced stats and the new “Hall of Fame” scale, will allow fans to see how their favorite players measure up to current players as well as legendary players in the game.
This NBA 2k series will have only one 99 overall rating, and no it’s not LeBron James. Michael Jordan will represent the best player in NBA 2K16 as all other players try to reach that plateau this season.
