NBA 2K16 Ratings Analysis: Forwards and Centers

Overall player ratings for NBA 2K16’s small forwards and power forwards are in and it is no surprise to see LeBron James and Anthony Davis at the top of each list.  LeBron’s 94 rating is the highest among active NBA players but 2^nd highest overall due to the new ratings system which uses advanced stats and a “Hall of Fame” scale to make active players and legendary players comparable.  Anthony Davis is tied with James Harden as the 3^rd highest rated player at 92 overall.   See the remaining overall ratings for small forwards here:

Last but not least, the top 10 men in the middle are revealed for NBA 2K16.  Marc Gasol and DeMarcus Cousins lead all active centers with overall ratings of 87.  The new rating system appears to group the center position the closest in overall rankings having 5 players rated 83 overall in the top 10.
