Mike Wang, Gamplay Director of NBA 2K, has stated on Twitter that fixes are coming to NBA 2K17.
Pass speeds, moving screens, and defense are going to be tweaked, and the Relentless Finish issue will be fixed “ASAP”, according to Wang.
Shot timing will also become more difficult. There will be a noticeable drop in the frequency of green releases.
Wang stated that:
Sharpshooters will be just fine. But nobody should be averaging 80+% from 3PT range.

Wang informed Twitter followers that he is aware of the complaints that field goal percentages are too high and shooting is too easy, and these are being addressed thusly.
These changes aren’t going to be massive, but shooting is going to get tougher.
It's not going to be as drastic as some of you think. I'm just prepping you all that the timing band-aid is going away after XB gets 1.04
