The NBA 2K team tonight had a livestream showing off the ratings for many of the game’s biggest stars in 2K20. Part of that event included revealing the top duos in NBA 2K20.
Top Duos in 2K20
One recurring theme throughout the NBA offseason has been the number of star duos that have formed throughout the league. From Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving heading to Brooklyn, to the two duos that will play at the Staples Center, the league has become much more competitive and interesting.
Here are the top duos in NBA 2K20:
4. James Harden and Russell Westbrook (Houston Rockets) – AVG: 93 OVR
Russell Westbrook will head to Houston next season to reunite with his former Thunder teammate James Harden. The Rockets are hoping that Westbrook will mesh well with Harden and push the team to the NBA Finals, something that the team could not do with Chris Paul.
3. Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving (Brooklyn Nets) – AVG: 93.5 OVR
Kevin Durant left Oklahoma City in 2016 and headed to Golden State looking to win his first NBA title. He won two championships with the Warriors, and now he takes his talents to Barclays Center with the Brooklyn Nets. He will join talented point guard Kyrie Irving, who left Boston after two seasons. Although this duo won’t play together in real life this season as Durant recovers from a torn ACL, the two should be part of a formidable team in 2K20.
2. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George (Los Angeles Clippers) – AVG: 95 OVR
The Clippers made a surprising run to the NBA Playoffs last season, and now they will look for more as they add a pair of superstars to their squad. The Clippers added the crown jewel of NBA Free Agency in two-time NBA Champion Kawhi Leonard. Then, they added Paul George in a trade with the Thunder, and now the two will look to bring a title back to LA.
- LeBron James and Anthony Davis (Los Angeles Lakers) – AVG: 95.5 OVR
The Clippers aren’t the only team with a powerful duo in Los Angeles. The Lakers added big man Anthony Davis in a trade with the Pelicans, and while they couldn’t land Kawhi Leonard, the Lakers should still have a strong team nevertheless. The big question will be this: can LeBron and AD be the driving force to get the Lakers back on top in the NBA?
