2K just revealed their first bit of information for the next installment of the NBA 2K franchise. Among other details, 2K revealed several covers, each one complete with different perks when pre-ordered. Similar to the previous releases, NBA 2K22 will be released on September 9.
A whole lot of NBA 2K22 covers…
The standard edition and cross-gen bundle edition will have Dallas Mavericks superstar, Luka Doncic, gracing the cover. The 75th Anniversary Edition will showcase 3 superstars from different generations. Additionally, Hall of Famers, Dirk Nowitzki, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Brooklyn Nets star, Kevin Durant, will all share a cover. Lastly, for the first time since the inclusion of the WNBA, a WNBA player will have a cover on NBA 2K. Chicago Sky’s, Candace Parker, will have the honor of being the first WNBA player to grace a cover of the leading basketball game.

Pre-Order and Pricing Details
Standard Edition and WNBA 25th Anniversary Edition will contain the same bonuses. However, you can only pre-order the physical copy of the WNBA cover. The pricing is the same as the 2K21 cycle. The standard edition on current-gen is $59.99. The next-gen standard and WNBA edition are $69.99. The 75th Anniversary Edition is $99.99 on every platform.
