With the NBA season coming down to the wire, NBA 2K22 released another player rating update. We are two weeks away from the playoffs and teams are doing all they can to make it. Kyrie Irving-Brooklyn Nets- 92 OVR(+1)
What can you say about Kyrie Irving that hasn’t been said already? One-half of the Brooklyn Nets duo continues to showcase why he is a top guard in the league. On March 15, the former Duke Blue Devil dropped a cool 60 points on the Orlando Magic, lacing 20 of his 31 shot attempts. Despite Kevin Durant’s absence, Kyrie continued to keep the Nets afloat in the eastern conference
Devin Booker-Phoenix Suns-91 OVR (+1)
Devin Booker continues to showcase his talent for the Phoenix Suns. The former Kentucky Wildcat missed the first week of March due to injury and has come back like a man on a mission. On a 60-plus win team, Booker is averaging 26 PPG, 5 APG, and 5 RPG. He has been getting some MVP recommendations as a result.
Jayson Tatum- Boston Celtics- 90 OVR (+1)
Boston struggled at the start of the season. Thanks to Jayson Tatum, the Celtics have reaffirmed themselves as a top-three team in the Eastern Conference. Tatum is averaging a career-high 27 PPG and 8 RPG. When it comes right down to it, Tatum is a player that can get you a bucket.
Jordan Poole- Golden State Warriors- 81 OVR (+2)
Jordan Poole has made the most of his minutes since Steph Curry’s injury. Poole is averaging 18 PPG while shooting a respectable 36 percent from three. Poole is playing valuable minutes right now, and he’s making the most of them by scoring more than 20 points in each of his last 14 games.
