We have our first bit of NBA 2K25 news, as the longstanding franchise’s cover athletes have been revealed. NBA 2K has been using multiple cover athletes for different versions of the games recently, and we now have those athletes.
NBA 2K25 Cover Athletes Revealed
Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics will dawn the cover of the Standard Edition. The 2024 NBA Champion averaged 26.9 PPG for the season and 25 ppg in the playoffs en route to his first NBA Championship.
The WNBA edition of the game which can still only be obtained physically, will dawn A’ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces. A’ja has a resume that most athletes would dream of. She is a two-time WNBA champion, two-time finals MVP, two-time defensive player of the year, and more. Going over her accolades as a professional, and collegiate athlete would take forever.
Both Tatum and Wilson will dawn the cover of the All-Star Edition of NBA 2K25.
The Hall of Fame Edition of NBA 2K25 has Vince Carter gracing the cover. ‘Half Man, Half Amazing’ played for 22 years in the NBA. Carter was an amazing athlete with scintillating dunks and a scoring finesse that couldn’t be matched. Towards the later part of his career, Carter re-tooled his game to be much more measured as his career progressed. VC has a litany of career accolades. He has multiple all-NBA selections, and eight all-star selections, and is a former rookie of the year.
Like previous installments, each version will have specific bonuses when purchased.
