Paolo Banchero- Orlando Magic- 78 OVR

Paolo Banchero is the 2022 ACC player of the year. In his one-and-done season with Duke, Banchero averaged 17 ppg, with formidable shooting splits. As the newest member of the Orlando Magic, Banchero may be a rookie of the year favorite.

Jabari Smith Jr- Houston Rockets- 78 OVR

Jabari Smith Jr. has an incredible feel for the game. Usually, 6’10 forwards struggle with guarding smaller guards. However, Smith is a versatile defender who can keep with shifty guards. We will have to wait and see how well he matches up in the NBA, but for now, Houston’s future is looking bright with the addition of Jabari Smith Jr.

Chet Holmgren- Oklahoma City Thunder- 77 OVR

Chet Holmgren may miss his first season, but the league anticipates his inevitable debut. In high school, Holmgren already garnered KD comparisons. He is 7’0 with great shooting touch. However, in Gonzaga, Holmgren showed he is the total package. He can defend, shoot, rebound and bring the ball up when necessary.

Keegan Murray- Sacramento Kings- 76 OVR

When Keegan Murray was drafted, some fans were confused about why he was selected 4th overall. However, Murray showed his doubters why during Summer League. The Iowa standout was named summer league MVP after averaging 23 PPG on 50 percent shooting and 40 percent shooting from deep. For his efforts, Murray was selected to an All-NBA Summer League First Team.

Jaden Ivey- Detroit Pistons- 76 OVR

Detroit has much to smile about with Jaden Ivey. The pairing of Ivey and Cade Cunningham could be league-breaking for years to come. Ivey has basketball in his blood. His mother coaches for Norte Dame and played 5 seasons in the WNBA. Her teachings allowed Ivey to take Purdue by storm earning multiple Big-Ten awards during his two years in school.
