In 2K25, he is a sharpshooting, ankle-breaking machine. Perfect for draining those clutch 3-pointers or embarrassing your buddy with a step-back jumper. Bonus? His pick-and-roll game with Nikola Jokić in Denver translates beautifully into the game. Running the two-man game with Murray? Chef’s kiss.

RJ Barrett

The pride of Toronto, RJ Barrett is coming into his own in both the hardwood and the virtual world. He has that perfect mix of slashing and shooting in NBA 2K25. Finishing at the rim feels tighter this year, and the defense definitely got a boost. He’s one of those kinds of players who won’t just necessarily dominate right out of the gate, but once you get into the groove with him, he’s unstoppable.

Andrew Wiggins

If you’re an enthusiast of two-way players, then Andrew Wiggins is your man-one of the most versatile wings in the league. Seriously, if you haven’t run some fast breaks with this guy in the game, you’re missing out. His scoring off the dribble feels super smooth, and he’s one of those players who’s just plain fun to use.

Dillon Brooks

Alright, let me tell you about this guy-Dillon Brooks isn’t everybody’s cup of tea because he’s got a bit of a reputation, but man, his defense in NBA 2K25 is for real. He is scrappy, in-your-face, and can really clamp down on the opposing team’s best scorer. And of course, sometimes his shot selection will make you roll your eyes, but when he’s hot, he is hot. Use him correctly, and you get pretty good value out of him.

Now, let’s not forget the other up-and-coming Canadian talent, guys like Luguentz Dort, who is just a beast on the defensive end, or the incoming Shaedon Sharpe, whose athletic abilities make him a human highlight reel both in real life and in the game. The pipeline is flowing north of the border, and Canada should be proud of its team.
