Today Survios announced the return of CREED: RISE TO GLORY with CREED: RISE TO GLORY – CHAMPIONSHIP EDITION. This new version, which includes new characters, costumes, and locations based on the upcoming nationwide theatrical release of CREED III on March 3rd, 2023, will be available on the PlayStation VR2 (PSVR2) on April 4th. The standard and deluxe editions of the game are now available for pre-order on the PlayStation Store, priced at $39.99 and $49.99 respectively. PlayStation Plus users will receive a limited-time exclusive Adonis Creed costume and a 10% discount on pre-orders.
Owners of the original PSVR game can upgrade to the enhanced and expanded PSVR2 version for $19.99 (Standard Edition) or $29.99 (Deluxe Edition). Additionally, CREED: RISE TO GLORY – CHAMPIONSHIP EDITION will also be released on the Meta Quest 2 on April 4th.
In this new edition, players take on the role of Adonis Creed, son of heavyweight champion Apollo Creed, and train hard in the gym under the tutelage of the legendary Rocky Balboa. As players climb the ranks, they face off against iconic franchise characters in different arenas to prove their worth as a champion. This new release delivers new technical, performance, and quality-of-life upgrades over the original, utilizing the PlayStation 5 (PS5) and PlayStation VR2 hardware and features to deliver an even more immersive boxing experience.
The game features enhanced fidelity with 4K/HDR support, foveated rendering, a 110º field of view, advanced controller tracking, impact haptics in the PSVR2 Sense controllers and headset, 3D audio powered by PS5’s Tempest Audio tech, lightning-fast load times, cross-platform PvP, and optimized matchmaking.
Players can look forward to experiencing new game content, modes, and settings to create a more immersive and personalized experience for both beginner and seasoned CREED players. CHAMPIONSHIP EDITION expands the Creed universe with new story chapters, characters, and locations based on Creed III.
