“After the success of last year’s E:60 highlighting the Madden ratings process, revealing ratings live on ESPN was a natural next step for us,” said Norby Williamson, ESPN executive vice president and executive editor, production. “EA SPORTS has created a culture surrounding this reveal each year and we are excited to be part of this year’s moment.”
How ESPN Will Reveal Madden 21 Ratings
Rating reveals start Monday, July 13 with ESPN’s studio show Get Up showcasing the players in the “99 Club.” The “99 Club” features all players possessing a 99 overall in the game. Other studio shows like First Take, SportsCenter, and NFL Live will also contribute to the reveals as well.
First Take will take on debates over the superstar ratings each day of the week. SportsCenter will reveal positional ratings every day as well. NFL Live will have a variety of different segments discussing Madden ratings.
Ratings week concludes Friday, July 17 at 7 p.m. on ESPN with a SportsCenter special on the ratings. Laura Rutledge, Louis Riddick, Field Yates, and Mina Kimes will reveal the rest of the ratings in addition to interviewing players.
