Rocket League v2.04 Now Live on All Platforms

Rocket League 2021

Psyonix LLC released patch v2.04 for Rocket League today. The patch applies to Rocket League on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Steam, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and the Epic Games Store. Per Psyonix, the patch temporarily removes voice chat in Rocket League. Psyonix acknowledges the in-game voice chat system is not up to modern standards for a fast-paced game environment. Psyonix also notes some players experience performance issues while using in-game voice chat. This all contributed to its decision to remove it.

Psyonix plans to deliver an improved, more comprehensive voice chat system to Rocket League in 2022. The rest of the patch notes are below, per www.rocketleague.com.
