Last week, Pro Skateboarder Tyshawn Jones revealed that a new Tony Hawk Pro Skater remaster was set to be released. A few days later, Tony Hawk himself announced that the new game would be officially revealed on March 4th.
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3+4 Announcement
The legendary skater posted a new picture on Instagram captioned “Met up with some old friend today to talk about the past and future.”
In the picture, Tony Hawk and four other skaters are sitting on the sidewalk in front of graphite art that reads “03.04.25,” with a new logo in the THPS color scheme. Given Tyshawn Jones’ comments on The Breakfast Club and Hawk’s latest post, promotion for a new game is already underway.
The name of the game hasn’t been officially revealed yet, but if it’s a remaster, as Jones suggests then it’s likely Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3+4.
Almost gone forever
The THPS series was completely canned three years ago once Vicarious Visions was absorbed by Blizzard Entertainment. A year later, the Blizzard was bought out by Microsoft, so who knows where the series stood?
However, in recent weeks the series has been revived and a new game is set to release. Hang tight for March 4th because Tony Hawk Pro Skater is making another comeback.

No matter which way you spin in, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 is an excellent remake from top to bottom. The levels look great, the soundtrack is nostalgic yet modern, and the gameplay brings you back to sitting on your living room floor late at night playing with friends.
