Like EA Sports’ other AAA titles, FIFA 17 was scheduled for inclusion in EA Access and Origin Access.
EA Access allows players to try out AAA titles free for a set period of time before they are released. This service is exclusive to Xbox One. Origin Access provides the same service for PC gamers, through EA’s PC portal Origin.
While the release of the FIFA 17 trial for EA Access is officially slated for September 22, gamers around the world are reporting that the trial is available now. PC gamers are saying the same thing about the Origin Access trial.
These trials will give you the chance to try out the full version of FIFA 17 (not the demo) for 10 hours. All of the progress you make while playing the trial will then be carried over when you purchase FIFA 17 at launch—September 27 in North America and September 29 everywhere else.
A subscription to EA Access or Origin Access is $4.99. In addition to offering gamers the chance to try out new titles before they are released, the Access services also provide gamers with a plethora of titles to play as much as they like—a feature called the Vault. There are some fantastic games on offer in the Vault, so anyone who is looking to expand their gaming library should absolutely take a look at EA or Origin Access.
