eSports Boxing Club Adds 15 New Fighters

Steel City Interactive has just announced 15 new licensed boxers for its upcoming fighter, eSports Boxing Club. The announcement comes via ESBC’s Twitter and YouTube, and showcases 15 new additions to the official ESBC roster. It also brings along an ESBC exclusive “dream” matchup. The new signings push the official fight roster over 150.

The 15 new fighters are:

Erislandy Lara out of Cuba and the United States headlines the announcement video. Lara is an amateur world champion Olympic gold medalist who has held multiple world titles in two different weight classes. Casamayor was a 1992 Olympic gold medalist and also held titles in two different weight classes. Steel City Interactive has also signed father and son duo, Kostya and Tim Tszyu. Lastly, Mark “Magnifico” Magsayo, 23-0, is the current WBO International Featherweight Champion, now set to appear in ESBC.

The announcement video finishes with a preview of what is being called an ESBC exclusive dream matchup – Joe Calzaghe vs. Carl Froch.

Steel City Interactive has not yet announced a release date for eSports Boxing Club. According to Steel City’s developer notes, the development timeline changed when the indie studio expanded the project and has subsequently grown its development team and fighter roster.
