Some legendary additions are coming to UFC 5. Three UFC Hall of Famers are joining the Roster. “El Guapo” Bas Rutten, Kevin ‘The Monster’ Randleman, and ‘Lil Evil’ Jens Pulver are officially a part of the EA UFC 5 roster. For newer MMA fans, these names may be unfamiliar, but for the initiated, these names are forever etched in the history books of MMA worldwide.
Legendary Additions Coming to the UFC 5 Roster
‘El Guapo’ Bas Rutten
This is Bas’ second entry into the EA UFC roster. He was on the EA UFC 2 Roster in the heavyweight and light heavyweight divisions. Bas is the first Dutch UFC champion besting, Kevin Randelman, in UFC 20 to accomplish that feat. He’s a former King of Pancrase champion and an accomplished kickboxer with slick grappling skills to boot.
Kevin ‘The Monster’ Randleman
Kevin Randleman lives up to his name. He is, what Scott Steiner would say, a freak. Randleman is a three-time Big 10 and D1 NCAA wrestling champion. He is a former UFC champion and has beaten the likes of Pedro Rizzo, Pete Williams, and Mirko CroCrop. Randleman was a prolific wrestler with ruthless power in his hands. Kevin Randleman also had a brief stint as a professional wrestler.
‘Lil Evil’ Jens Pulver
Jens Pulver is the pioneer of the lightweight division. He was the first UFC lightweight champion, the first to defend the title, and, along with BJ Penn, one-half of the first lightweight headliners. Pulver has fought all over the world competing against the likes of the aforementioned Penn, Urijah Faber, and Takanori Gomi.
EA UFC 5 is available on PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. These legends are wonderful additions to a game with a growing roster. How are you feeling about the new roster additions?
