Ali is here to stay
Steel City Interactive announced on X that a new agreement for the legendary boxer will extend his license in Undisputed until 2037. This means players can “float like a butterfly, and sting like a bee” for years to come.
In a press release on the deal, SCI’s CEO Ash Habib said, “Continuing our exclusive license with Muhammad Ali, the most loved and influential sports figure in history, highlights our commitment to fans of boxing.” Habib continued, “It’s incredible for the Undisputed franchise that we’ve secured this deal for a boxing videogame. As we look to the future and build on the success of Undisputed, this ground-breaking partnership allows us to continue giving our players access to one of our most popular in-game characters.”
Undisputed
Undisputed is the latest boxing game from Steel City Interactive. The game has had a long road leading up to its release last year. It the game’s final early access update, career mode and create-a-fighter were added. Shortly after, the game was released for consoles in October 2024.
You can check out our SGO review of the game below:
After hours and hours of playing Undisputed, playing in the different game modes online, it lacks continuity and fails to be the simulation boxing game it advertises. Boxers get too tired, punches are clunky, and there needs to be a deeper American boxing roster. Overall, it’s just not a fun game to play.

Undisputed is waaay better after the last few updates. I’m having a blast playing it. The lighting/ray-tracing on the PS5 Pro update looks incredible too.
