Steel City Interactive Has given us what boxing gamer fans have been missing for over 14 years.
We need a boxing game that we can be proud of. The last one was EA Sports Fighting Night Champion. We get games yearly like Madden, NBA 2K, NHL, FIFA, and every sports genre, but we last had a boxing game quite some time ago.
Undisputed Review
Presentation
The first thing you notice is the presentation of this game from the heavyweight fighters of this era, Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder, to legends of the past like Sugar Ray, Robinson, and the current pound-per-pound best fighter in the world, Terrence Bud Crawford you get Undisputed boxing.
Game Modes
However, the biggest question is, does the game, after 14 years, live up to the anticipation and hype? Let’s talk game modes. Creating a boxer and career mode is where you want to start; it gives you everything. Just like WWE 2K24, you can completely customize your fighters.
In addition, you get to pick everything from your manager to get you big fights to your trainer, including your cut man. This game gives you the feeling of being in the boxing world.
Gameplay
However, gameplay—that’s a different question, whether it’s Muhammad Ali versus Joe Fraser or, you all must’ve forgotten himself, Roy Jones Junior versus Canelo Alvarez. This is where the game takes a hit.
Footwork looks and feels fantastic, but well-throwing punches are where there is a problem. When it comes to the stamina meter, as you throw punches, your fighter gets tired, and it’s prone to knockouts at that moment, and rightfully so.
However, it fails to deliver good blocking mechanics and is a bit clunky when it comes to defending. The game should bob and weave, but instead, it zigs and zags and will leave you open for knockouts.
Undisputed, as good as it looks, fails to be realistic and, overall, fails at what you want from a boxing game.
The best thing about this game is also the worst thing about it. It does feel like there are a lot of boxers to choose from. However, it does not give you the American boxers that you know in love. There’s no Felix Trinidad from Puerto Rico. There’s no Oscar De La Hoya. The game is full of European fighters that you may not know of or be aware of.
Verdict
After hours and hours of playing Undisputed, playing in the different game modes online, it lacks continuity and fails to be the simulation boxing game it advertises. Boxers get too tired, punches are clunky, and there needs to be a deeper American boxing roster. Overall, it’s just not a fun game to play.
Summary
Score: 5/10
Undisputed brings boxing back into mainstream gaming but fails to deliver a suitable experience that fans expect.

I wanted to try something new for entertainment, so I decided to give online games a shot. That’s when I found casigo. The site had a clean layout and plenty of games to explore, from slots to live dealers. What I liked most were the bonuses, like free spins and deposit matches for new players. They also have regular promos that change often, so there’s always something to look forward to.
