Today the R.B.I. Baseball 20 development team gave us a look into this year’s game. This year’s game will, according to the developers, have brand-new batting, pitching and baserunning controls. There will also be a new “broadcast-style” camera angle, along with updated and more realistic graphics.

Here’s the screenshots the development team released today:

When looking at the screenshots, there’s a couple of takeaways I had. Not only did the developers give us a look at the broadcast camera angle, but you can also see that the camera angle behind the plate is lower and more aligned with the strike zone. Here’s a look from last year’s game to illustrate what I mean:

Second, R.B.I. Baseball‘s team have finally added real pitches to this year’s game. In past years, gamers could only choose a “fast pitch” or a slower pitch. Now, gamers now can choose to throw fastballs, sliders, changeups and other pitches.

On top of the screenshots, the R.B.I. Baseball team also announced a new promo with GameStop. If you pre-order R.B.I. Baseball 20 from GameStop, you can receive one MLB SqueezyMate at random while supplies last.

R.B.I Baseball 20 will be released in March for the Xbox One, Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch. For more gaming news, be sure to keep checking out the SGO site.
