Eleven years is a long wait for college football fans, but the wait is nearly over. In ten days, EA Sports College 25 will make its grand return. However, the Madden publisher has continued to pull back the curtains leading up to the game’s release.
On Monday, EA Sports showcased the official gameplay of its new football title. The 20-minute video featured many of the game’s mechanics and provided in-depth commentary from developers.
CFB 25 Gameplay Reveal
EA Sports finally revealed CFB 25‘s gameplay via YouTube. The video featured Donavan Edwards, one of the game’s cover athletes, and Bordeaux, a YouTube Content creator.
The two played head-to-head in the game, with Edwards controlling the University of Michigan and Bordeaux using Texas. While the two showed off their skills, the developers gave some in-depth commentary on some of the game’s features.
Donavan Edwards complimented the developers a few times, mentioning some of the game’s attention to detail is very realistic.
“Hey boys, this graphics stuff is real. It [CFB 25] got us looking to the sideline and all that.”
Edwards commented when on-field players looked toward the sidelines before starting a play. In addition, the running back commented on how smooth and easy it was to run the football.
“It felt like I was really out there, you know what I’m saying?,” Edwards said. “For me, I’m able to read the defense. The stick work was very easy to maneuver.”
