With a month until the game’s launch, EA Sports has finally released the first full gameplay trailer for Madden 18.
The trailer shows off new features like target passing, wide receiver skills, defensive back mechanics, and blocking controls. Madden 18 will also feature three separate ways to enjoy the game in the form of play styles: Arcade, Competitive, and Simulation.
In addition to the gameplay features, the game will also be the first in the franchise’s history to include a full story mode. “Longshot” mode sees players take control of protagonist Devin Wade, a former college star that has been out of the game for three years. You will work towards getting him noticed by NFL scouts, and drafted to the big time.
Also added to the game this year is the ability to play with friends in Madden Ultimate Team in the form of MUT Squads.
Madden 18 launches on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 on August 25th. Those who pre-order the G.O.A.T. Edition of the game can get access three-days early on August 22.
