Today featured the unveiling of the Madden 21 release trailer, but we did also receive some additional details regarding the upcoming game, including whether PS4 gamers can receive a free upgrade when the Playstation 5 is released.
Madden 21 For PS5
EA did confirm today that in addition to the Xbox Series X, Playstation gamers can upgrade their PS4 Madden 21 copy when the Playstation 5 is released. This promotion will be available up to the release date of Madden 22.
It is, however, important to note that physical copies of Madden 21 cannot be upgraded to discless consoles. Because of this detail, gamers should keep this in mind when considering to buy the PS5 Digital Edition.
Madden 21 For Steam
Madden 21 will also be the first game of the franchise that will be available on the Steam platform. Madden 21 is already available for pre-order purchase on Steam.
