It’s Madden season; we’ve hit mid-August and EA Sports has been teasing gamers long enough. For those wanting to get their hands on Madden 23 ahead of the August 19 official release, well you are in luck.
Madden 23 Early Access goes live
Time to buckle that chinstrap everyone, Madden 23 early access is live. For those looking to participate, you will need to sign up for EA Play, a $4.99 per month subscription. The EA Play Early Access offers a chance to play earlier than your future opponents and get some of that needed lab time. This membership will allow you to try the full game for 10 hours starting now. In addition, the trial tracks and saves progress that will carry over if you decide to purchase the game. This is great for everyone but is especially great for the franchise aficionados and Ultimate Team grinders.
The EA PlayPro membership is $14.99 per month and includes unlimited access to all the latest titles as soon as they drop, plus exclusive, member-only rewards and content. However, the cheaper of the two memberships will be all you need to play the Madden 23 trial for 10 hours.
If you’re already planning to purchase the game without the need to try it before you buy it, then the other option is to pre-order the All-Madden edition at $100. It will be available on August 16 and if you have the EA Play membership you can get at a 10% discount, still a cool $90. This version comes with the following perks: 4600 Madden Points, Choice of 2 Elite Players, All-Madden Gear, and a Madden Strategy Item. It is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S consoles, and PC.
