Last night the Madden NFL 23 Championship Series (MCS) Ultimate Thanksgiving tournament kicked off. Eight of the best Madden NFL 23 players in the world faced off in the second major of the MCS season on Madden NFL’s Twitch and YouTube channels. The stage is now set for the semifinals and $260,000 championship game next week.

Quarterfinal Matchups
The first quarterfinal matchup was between Gabagol and CleffTheGod. CleffTheGod came out on top to move on to the semifinals. He will be facing Big Gucci, who beat Jonbeast in the first round to advance. On the other side of the bracket, Dez beat KMac to move on to the semifinals and matchup against Wesley. Wesley upset Rage in the first round to make it to next week’s event.
Madden Championship Finals Event
With the semifinal matchups set, next week’s final is sure to be an exciting finish to the tournament. The semifinals and $260,000 final will go down on Wednesday, November 16 at 7 PM ET and will be streamed live on Madden NFL’s Twitch and YouTube channels.
Twitch Drops
Like all MCS events, this one provided Twitch drops to the viewers. For each broadcast, viewers could earn up to two MCS Packs for Madden Ultimate Team. These packs include an MCS Token, a player item from the latest MUT program, and four additional player items.
The main prize in these packs is the MCS tokens. A single token can be exchanged for a standard Twitch Drop Pack in MUT. But, if viewers get three of these tokens, they can exchange these for a 91 OVR MCS Program Trevon Diggs item for their MUT team. This is the big prize for tuning into both events for this major.
