The most exciting news about EA Sports College Football 25 has been the newest features coming to the game. Everything from the wear and tear system to new abilities will ensure EA’s return to college football is a special one.
However, another layer to CFB’s return has been the NIL deals for players’ likenesses within the game. So far, over 11,000 players have opted into EA’s proposal of $600 and a copy of the newest football title, but that number has recently risen.
More Players Opt-in College Football 25
As I stated before, college football players can opt into the deal EA has set for college athletes. The payout for opting in is a 600 USD monetary payment and a copy of College Football 25. According to On3 NIL, 11,000 players have accepted EA Sports’ offer and will have their likeness featured in the game.
However, the NIL evaluation group has reported that this number has grown to 14,000 players, bringing the Madde publisher’s payment to college athletes to a massive 8.4 million dollars.

Gameplay Key Features
- Wear & Tear System: As the hits add up, players wear down with the Wear & Tear System. Manage your players’ health, limit fatigue, assess risk of injury, and avoid on-field mistakes by using strategic substitutions to ensure your players are at their best when it counts the most.
- Pre-Snap Recognition: Pre-Snap Recognition makes the decision behind every snap matter more. Do you trust in your high-skill seniors, or take a risk with your untested freshman? Read the game, then read your players to make the right decision when the game is on the line.
- Homefield Advantage: Game-altering homefield advantages rattle your rivals in college football’s toughest places to play. Test your squad’s road game composure and confidence levels as you play through distractions like screen shaking, missing pre-play icons, and moving play art.
