Today, Xbox announced Mutant Football League 2 launched on Xbox Game Preview. For those unaware, Xbox Game Preview allows gamers to play and purchase games still in development. Through this program, players have opportunities to participate in the development process and help improve the game.
Mutant Football League 2 Launches on Xbox Game Preview
Mutant Football League 2 became available today at 7am pacific on Xbox Game Preview. Fans can opt in for$24.99. This is reported to be about $5.00 less than the upcoming launch price. Grab your copy of Mutant Football League 2 for Xbox at here.
The upcoming aims to be bigger and faster than the original, taking brutal, arcade-style football to new heights. Digital Dreams is also adding new modes and ways to shake up the classic game. This includes new features and play modes:
- Create Your Own MFL Team – Now you can create and name your own MFL franchise. Customize your team’s uniforms, branding, identity, stadium and even the team’s musical theme
- Doom Field Editor – Choose your stadium type, name it and lay the traps and hazards to create 6,395 square yards of Hell on turf.
- Player Personalization – Your players get even bigger and more badass with jaw-dropping customization, better armor, and other items that will guarantee that even their mothers won’t love them.
- Season Mode – Play through a full 17-game season and compete for the coveted Mayhem Bowl Championship. Manage your roster with player trades, free agent signings, card collection, SkillRoid Injections, and player upgrades.

In addition to the aforementioned, many additional new features will continue to be added to MFL2 during its time in the Xbox Game Preview. The plan is to continue improving the game right up to when the final version of the game is released in Fall 2025.
