Champion Crowned!

There’s a new Madden Bowl Champion! Against all the tournament odds’ favorites, DubDotDubby has taken the crown as Madden Bowl Champion this year.  The finals went live February 3 from Houston Texas.

Road to Victory

The day started off with eight of Madden NFL 17’s finest duking it out in the quarter finals. In his first match of the day, DubDotDubby had a tall order to fill in the form of Mr. Hollywood. Hollywood pulled out 3-0 victory in the Orlando qualifiers and became a tournament favorite, beating big names like Problem in the early going. DubDotDubby weathered the storm and the odds to come out victorious 20-13.  Serious Moe put an end to the newcomer TrueBoy by a mere 3-point lead.

DubDot would take it to second round competitor Skimbo and take the victory 21-17. On the other side, Problem was paving his way to the finals knocking out two very tough competitors Serious Moe and Boogz.

Squaring Off in the Finals

The final round for the championship pit DubDotDubby versus Problem who looked to claim his fourth Madden Championship. In what was a back and forth intense bout with DubDotDubby forcing a key turnover and scoring with 1:04 min remaining on the clock. Problem repeat hopes were dashed when he was stopped on a last ditch pass to the end zone as the game ended 24-17.
