2K with the NFL announced the kickoff to Season 1 and the new Gamechangers mode now available in NFL 2K Playmakers.
NFL 2K Playmakers Season 1 Brings New Gamechangers Mode
For the unaware, NFL 2K Playmakers is a free-to-play card battling mobile game developed by Cat Daddy Games. In celebration of the new Gamechangers mode, 2K dropped an all-new trailer featuring San Francisco 49ers wide receiver, Deebo Samuel, and Bay Area rap legend, E-40.
Gamechangers leverages real-time statistics from NFL games coinciding with the start of the NFL 2024 Season. in the mode, players assemble their roster of NFL cards, make predictions on game outcomes, and earn in-game rewards based on real-life action during live NFL games.
And starting September 5, coinciding with the NFL Kickoff, players can access a free pack in-game that includes a Gold Tier Deebo Samuel Card. This card is said to be perfect for boosting existing rosters or helping rookie players build a collection from scratch. In celebration of the NFL’s first game in Brazil on September 6, players can also earn unique Brazil-themed cards by participating in in-game activities. This includes playing the MVP Mixup Mode or purchasing the Kickoff Pack in the store. These cards will also be playable in the Gamechangers mode.
NFL 2K Playmakers is available for download free of charge on Apple and Android devices. For those looking to jump in on the action, NFL 2K Playmakers requires iOS 13.0 or later for iOS devices, including iPhone and iPad, and requires 4+ GB of RAM and Android 8.0 and up (Android 9.0 recommended) for Android devices. Of course, the game includes optional in-game purchases (including paid random items).
