From June 10-12, EA PLAY will be live in Los Angeles California. They’re boasting to have 140+ titles for gamers to play.
The games they’re advertising as playable are as follows:
- Star Wars Battlefront II
- FIFA 18
- Madden NFL 18
- NBA LIVE 18
- The latest Need for Speed™ experience
- The Sims™ Mobile and The Sims™ 4
- Battlefield™ 1: In The Name of the Tsar
- New content from Star Wars™: Galaxy of Heroes and Titanfall 2
- Madden NFL Mobile
- NBA LIVE Mobile
- EA SPORTS™ FIFA on the Nintendo Switch
EA Play also promises surprises for those who attend. They leaked a few of these surprised, including the first 500 people who play Madden NFL 18 on Sunday will receive a free copy of Madden NFL 17. More of a soccer fan? That’s cool. The first 500 people to play FIFA 18 on Sunday get a copy of FIFA 17. While EA’s press release did not specify what system the games would be for, I assume the players get to choose.
In addition to the plethora of new and current games to gorge yourself on, there will be live music from Nas (yes, the thirteen-time Grammy-nominated rapper who has eight consecutive platinum and multi-platinum albums), DJ Green Lantern, and Dave East. All three artists will perform in the evening on Saturday, June 10th.
For those who can’t go in person, EA will have several live streams during the event. These will include behind the scenes actions, developer interviews, and gameplay of select games. With multiple streams planned, I’m sure there will be plenty for those who can’t make it to watch.
Considering EA is skipping E3 this year, I’m sure they’re working hard to make EA PLAY as impressive and engaging as possible for gamers in attendance and around the world.
