Take-Two Interactive held its Q2 2025 earnings call on Wednesday, and we got some interesting announcements from it. Fans got a minor update regarding one of 2025’s biggest games, Grand Theft Auto 6, and the first mention of WWE 2K25. However, we didn’t expect to hear the announcement of a new PGA Tour 2K game.
PGA Tour 2K25 coming next year
During 2K’s parent company’s earnings call, Take-Two Interactive seamlessly mentioned a new PGA Tour 2K game coming in the fiscal year of Q4 2025. While Sports Gamers Online didn’t have the chance to hear the call for ourselves, Insider Gaming’s Mike Straw dropped the news via X Wednesday night.
“Unless it was a slip of the tongue,” Mike Straw tweeted, “a new PGA 2K title confirmed for Q4 2025 by Take-Two Interactive.”
“I’ve been reporting plans for a game next year, and that appears to be the case.”
The “slip of the tongue” Straw mentions comes from Lainie Goldstein, the CFO of Take-Two. She was answering a question about 2K’s Civilization series and continued, “We also have our PGA title releasing in the quarter and our WWE title. Last year, we only had our WWE title.”
According to Goldstein, WWE 2K and PGA Tour 2K will be released relatively close to one another. The series’ last installment, PGA 2K23, came out in October 2022; however, golf fans only went a short time without a new game as EA Sports released its golf title a year later.

Take-Two Interactive gave a minor update on Rockstar Games’ most anticipated game of 2025, Grand Theft Auto 6.
Rumors have started to circulate that the game would be delayed, but Rockstar’s parent company reminded fans that it is on track for a fall 2025 release.
At this point, GTA fans will get any updates from the developers. News on Rockstar’s upcoming game has been radio silence since the game’s announcement trailer nine months ago. Hopefully, fans get another trailer with some more details soon.
