2K has kicked off 2025 in style by announcing its newest golf title, PGA Tour 2K25. The publisher announced the game early this year but has detailed some gameplay and feature changes.
PGA Tour 2K25 gameplay details
In a recent press release, 2K Sports details what players can expect regarding gameplay changes in PGA Tour 2K25. For starters, the game’s EvoSwing mechanics will introduce a plethora of new shot types, ball flights, roll physics, and visual changes.
In addition to the gameplay changes, PGA Tour 2K25 will feature 27 licensed courses at launch. So far, 2K has revealed THE PLAYERS Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass, the 2025 U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club, and the 2025 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club.
MyPlayer & MyCareer
2K’s PGA game is well-known for its expansive customization and PGA Tour 2K25 is no different. This year’s game will feature an improved creation suite for players to express themselves. In addition, the game will feature a new Attributes Point system, an improved skill tree, and an all-new Equipment Progression system.
Of course, where there is a MyPlayer, there is a new MyCareer experience. Players will invited into “the most immersive and customizable” MyCareer experience. Players can compete in major tournaments, and play through extra gameplay moments through new training and pre-tournament events.

PGA Tour 2K25 will be released on February 28, 2025, for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC.
