February is shaping up to be 2022’s biggest month for gamers. Major titles like Elden Ring, Dying Light 2, and Horizon Forbidden West will be released during this hectic month, but for driving fans, you can be excited too. GRID Legends will drift into stores on February 25, 2022.
“With the release date set, the studio is putting the final polish to our deepest GRID game ever,”. – Codemasters Game Director, Chirs Smith.
Last summer, we got our first look at the reveal trailer for GRID Legends during Electronic Arts’ EA play event. Senior game designer Becky Crossdale explained how Codemasters used real-life actors and incorporated “extended reality” technology for the GRID Legends story mode during the presentation. This technology is the same tech that Disney used in its show The Mandalorian.
GRID Legends: Driven to Glory
‘Driven to Glory’ is Codemaster’s newest story about teams trying to win the prestigious GRID World Series. The story will feature real actors, including award-winning actor Ncuti Gatwa. Driven to Glory will blend movie sequences with racing challenges and feature continued progression into career mode after the story’s finale. Players can then hop over to a deeper career mode with over 250 events to play.
