NHL 22 In-Depth Look Scheduled Released

With the release of NHL 22 along the horizon, EA has just revealed the schedule of the in-depth look at NHL 22. The game is set to come out on October 15, 2021, for all major platforms except PC. The community-focused content series will be held on YouTube and Twitch. Check out the schedule here:

Sunday, August 29: World of Chel

The long-standing multiplayer experience is making a return in NHL 22. With the introduction of X-Factors, players will have more choices on creating their perfect player.

Tuesday, September 28: Uncut Gameplay

The reveal of NHL 22 did not show a lot of gameplay. However, the uncut gameplay will give the masses the first look at the newest edition of EA’s hockey sim series.

Monday, October 4: Be a Pro & Franchise Mode

NHL multi-season career mode, Be a Pro, is making a return in NHL 22. Last years’ iteration saw a revamp. Since X-Factor abilities are now being introduced, it may add a refreshing layer to the game. In addition to career mode, franchise mode will inevitably receive some tweaks.

Wednesday, October 6: Hockey Ultimate Team

The ultimate build-your-own-team experience will reveal a week before release. The mode features HUT Rush, Squad Battles, and HUT Rivals.

The in-depth look at World of Chel will be at 12 pm EST on the EA NHL YouTube and Twitch page. As we learn new information, we will report it.

We have already seen some of the major changes NHL 22 will have. The aforementioned X-Factors, enhanced stick physics, augmented reality UI, and switch to frostbite engine may revitalize the long-standing hockey sim.
