NHL 22 Top Ten Centers Revealed

The final ratings reveal for NHL 22 has arrived. Electronic Arts released the top ten centers of NHL 22. This list features nothing less than 90 overall ratings. The ratings will be in descending order. Without further adieu, here are the top ten centers of NHL 22.

 

NHL 22 Top Ten Centers Revealed

Starting at ten is Steven Stamkos of the Tampa Bay Lightning. He has a 90 overall. The number one pick of the 2008 draft has quite a career. He is a two-time Stanley Cup champion, six-time all-star, and two-time recipient of the Maurice “Rocket” Richard Trophy. He has also set a myriad of records during his time with the Lighting.

Next is Anze Kopitar of the Los Angeles Kings, with a 90 overall. Kopitar is one of the best two-way forwards to play in the NHL. He has won the Frank J. Selke Trophy twice and is a five-time all-star. Kopitar had two of the most stellar playoff performances en route to two Stanley Cup championships in 2012 and 2014. He led the league in goals, assists, and points in 2012. He led in assists and points in 2014.

Next is Aleksander Barkov of the Florida Panthers, with a 90 overall. Barkov is a two-way star. He is a Frank J. Selke Trophy winner and an all-star. He is coming off a 58 point season with 26 goals and 32 assists to his credit.

Jack Eichel of the Buffalo Sabres is next with a 91 overall. Eichel is a member of the 2016 all-rookie team. The number two pick in 2015 is a three-time all-star. Unfortunately, Eichel has a lot to think about this off-season. The Sabres failed to make the playoffs yet again despite his all-star level of play.

Rounding out the bottom five is Patrice Bergeron of the Boston Bruins. He has a 91 overall. Bergeron is one of the premiere two-way forwards in the game. He has four Frank J. Selke Trophies, tying him with Bob Gainey, for the most in NHL history. Bergeron is a two-time all-star and a Stanley Cup champion.

Starting the top five, the NHL 22 cover athlete, Auston Matthews at 91 overall. The Toronto Maple Leaf’s star came into the league breaking records. He has the most goals scored in an NHL debut and has the most goals by an American-born rookie. Matthews four-time all-star and recipient of the Maurice “Rocket” Richard Trophy.

At number four is Leon Draisaitl of the Edmonton Oilers, with a 93 overall. Draisaitl is a two-time all-star. 2020 was a good year for the German. He won the Art Ross Trophy, Ted Lindsey Award, Hart Memorial Trophy, and made the all-NHL first team.

Next is Sidney Crosby of the Pittsburg Penguins, with a 93 overall. Crosby is one of the greatest of all time. He is an eight-time all-star, three-time Stanley Cup champion, and eight-time all-NHL. He has received a plethora of end-of-the-year awards. Sidney Crosby is one of the best NHL players to play.

Next is Nathan MacKinnon of the Colorado Avalanche, with a 93 overall. MacKinnon is a four-time all-star and two-time all-NHL. “Nate the Great” is regarded as one of the most talented players in the league.

Topping off the list is Connor McDavid of the Edmonton Oilers. He has a 95 overall. McDavid is a four-time all-star, three-time winner of the Art Ross Trophy, and two-time Hart Memorial Trophy winner. He has made four all-NHL first teams. He is only 24 years old and has a resume of an all-time great.
