NHL 23 Reveal Coming August 25

EA Sports has announced that the full NHL 23 reveal is coming August 25. The reveal comes just five days before the game’s technical test opens for players who registered.

When it comes to what’ll be revealed, that’s all speculation right now. The game is expected to see improvements to overall puck physics as well as a boost to 120FPS on both Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. Fans should also expect some updates to the game’s Be A Pro and Franchise Modes alongside new changes within the World of Chel.

What isn’t expected to be announced is the return of GM Connected nor a PC release as neither look to be making a comeback this year. Cross-play between generations and consoles is also being hoped for, but signs currently point to it not being added to NHL 23.

As far as the cover athlete is concerned, its rumored to be Anaheim Ducks forward Trevor Zegras based on a finding for the technical test before it was quickly removed.

NHL 23 is expected to launch October 14 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
