NHL 23 Technical Test

It’s that time of year again as EA Sports has announced the upcoming NHL 23 Technical Test. The test will be available to those on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.

Not many details about what the test will include were revealed other than it will give players a first chance to try out the new gameplay elements coming to NHL 23 via online games.

“Participate in the NHL®23 Closed Technical Test to provide your feedback on World of Chel and get a first look by playing online matches,” EA Sports said. “The version of the game that will be used in the Technical Test is a work-in-progress, so we’ve created a forum for you to provide your feedback about any issues you notice.”

Like all past tests, there is no recording, streaming, or screenshots of the game allowed. However, EA Sports will once again make a forum public for players in order to provide feedback to the team.

As far as a start date is concerned, EA Sports says codes for the test will start going out at the end of August. Based on that information, it could be expected that NHL 23 will be launching in October much like the last two installments of the game.
