Today, San Diego Studios finally revealed who the cover athlete will be for MLB The Show 23. This year’s cover athlete is Miami Marlins superstar Jazz Chisholm Jr. During the reveal live stream, we also got some information about when the game is releasing and when pre-orders will be available.

MLB The Show 23

MLB The Show 23 will release on Tuesday, March 28th, 2023. This is a slightly earlier release date compared to the last two years when the game was released in April. The game will be available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. This confirms previous reports that the game would be available on current and last-generation consoles. The description of the reveal trailer on Xbox’s YouTube channel confirms the game will also return to Xbox Game Pass on day one. Pre-orders for the game will go live one week from today on February 6, 2023. The collector’s edition of the game will be announced on February 2nd.

Jazz Chisholm Jr.

The announcement of Jazz Chisholm Jr. was built up over the last week on MLB The Show’s social media accounts. They posted several hints with words describing the young phenom. The colors of these graphics also seemed to be clues to Chisholm being the choice due to his fun, colorful hairstyles.

Jazz was on his way to a career year last season before injuries ended his season. The 24-year-old hit 14 home runs and 45 RBIs in only 60 games last season. He also posted a career-high 139 OPS+ and 2.4 WAR. He was sidelined in June with a stress fracture in his back but was still voted to his first All-Star game.

With the Marlins acquisitions in free agency, it was recently announced that Jazz would be changing positions. Jazz offered to move from his normal second baseman position to centerfield this upcoming season.

Working part-time, I earn almost $23,500 USD every month. I listened to numerous individuals telling me how much money they could earn on the web, so I’m still trying to en-18 figure it out. It did, indeed, become all real, and it completely changed my life. Everyone should try this job right now simply.
