Madden 21 brings new features to the franchise

This year, EA SPORTS promises new and innovative gameplay in Madden 21. The game aims to deliver on new advanced levels of control in hopes of inspiring creativity.

NBA 2K25 Season 7 Details

In Madden 21, players can now use the ‘Skill Stick’ on both offense and defense to get creative in a varieties of ways.

On offense, players can:

  • Link together cleverly crafted skill-move combos to setup up gameplay moments
  • Employ a series new evasive moves from dead-legs to hurdles
  • Make adjustments on the fly with an improved ball-carrier system

On defense, you can use the Skill Stick to:

  • Fully control specific pass rush moves and chain together combos to keep adaptive linemen off balance
  • Attack with precision making use of location-based, dive, and breakdown tackling
  • Diversify play calling to outsmart the adaptive AI who watch for tendencies

In additional to overall gameplay enhancements and innovations, Madden 21 features new modes as well.

In ‘Face of the Franshie: Rise to Fame’, players push the limits of their legacy in an all new documentary style career mode where the goal is to rise to the Hall of Fame. Of course, Madden Ultimate Teams returns for another new season. Madden 21 also pulls from the real-life NFL season with Live Playbooks 2.0. NFL teams’ playbooks receive updates in Play Now and Franchise modes based on schemes and plays utilized during the real-life NFL season.

Madden 21Additionally, with Superstar X-Factor 2.0, players will explore over 50 newly added Superstar and X-Factor abilities designed to elevate the game for the new generation.

  • DirectX: 11
  • Multiplayer Online Connection Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection

  • Processor (AMD): FX 8150 @3.6GHz or better
  • Processor (Intel): Core i5-3550 @3.40GHz or better
  • Memory: 16GB

  • DirectX: 11
  • Multiplayer Online Connection Requirements: Broadband Connection
  • Hard Drive Space: 50GB
