Madden NFL 24 Defensive Linemen Ratings Revealed

Madden 24

Today, we got another batch of ratings for Madden NFL 24. These ratings were for the Defensive Linemen. This includes another member of the 99 Club that just made Madden NFL history.

99 Club Regular

The top rated Defensive Linemen for Madden NFL 24 is Los Angeles Rams superstar Aaron Donald. Donald has a perfect 99 OVR rating, earning him a spot in the prestigious 99 Club. This perfect rating marks the 7th consecutive year that Donald has been in the 99 Club, passing Peyton Manning for the most ever.

This rating is interesting considering that Donald is coming off one of the lowest years of his career. Donald missed time last season due to injuries, as he was only able to play in 11 games. This past season was the first time since his rookie year that he didn’t receive any Defensive Player of the Year votes wasn’t voted 1st-Team All-Pro. Despite this, he was still able to put up 49 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, and 5 QB sacks.

In The Trenches

Following Aaron Donald as the second-highest rated Defensive Lineman is Kansas City Chiefs Defensive Tackle Chris Jones. Jones, who will start Madden NFL 24 with a 96 OVR rating, had a career year in 2022. The Defensive Tackle started all 17 games for the Chiefs, and matched his career-high of 15.5 sacks. Jones also came through in the playoffs. In the AFC Championship Game, Jones sacked Bengals QB Joe Burrow twice and hit him five times.

Next on the list are two players from New York: Dexter Lawrence II from the Giants and Quinnen Williams of the Jets. Both players are coming off breakout seasons at the age of 25. Lawrence put up a career-high 7.5 sacks and 68 total tackles. This helped him lead the Giants to the playoffs and earn his first Pro Bowl selection. Williams also set a career-high with 12.0 sacks, and also was selected as a first-team All-Pro player.

Rounding out the top five is Pittsburgh Steelers veteran Cameron Heyward. At 34 years old, Heyward put up one of the best years of his long career in 2022. He started all 17 games for the Steelers, putting up 10.5 sacks and being selected to his sixth straight Pro Bowl.
